Revised August 2026
Cookie Policy
This site sets no cookies of its own. The only ones you might see come from the embedded Google Maps.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device to remember information between visits or requests. They can come from the site you are visiting directly (first-party) or from a service embedded in that site (third-party).
Cookies used on this site
This site does not set first-party cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. There is no login system, no shopping cart, and no first-party tracking script anywhere on this site.
Several pages, including hotel listings, individual landmark pages, and event pages, embed interactive Google Maps to show a real location. Loading one of these embeds may allow Google to set its own third-party cookies, governed by Google's own cookie and privacy policies, not by this site.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser's own settings, whether that's Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge; each has a privacy or cookies section where third-party cookies can be blocked or cleared. Because this site's own text, links, and functionality do not depend on cookies, blocking third-party cookies will not affect your ability to read any page here. It may only prevent an embedded map from loading or displaying correctly.
Consent, honestly
Because the Google Maps embeds are placed directly on relevant pages, they can load automatically when you open a page that includes one, before any explicit cookie choice is made. We're working toward adding an interactive consent step before third-party map content loads. Until that's in place, if you would rather not receive any Google cookies at all, use your browser's cookie-blocking settings proactively, or avoid interacting with the embedded map on a given page.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in how the site operates. The current revision date is shown at the top of this page.
Common questions
Does this site use tracking cookies?
No first-party tracking cookies of any kind. The only cookie exposure comes from embedded Google Maps, set directly by Google.
How do I block these cookies?
Adjust your browser's third-party cookie settings, or use a browser extension that blocks Google's cookies specifically. This will not break any page's text or links; only the interactive map widget may not load.
Will my experience break if I block cookies?
No. Every page's actual content, hotel comparisons, landmark facts, and internal links work fully without cookies. Only the embedded Google Maps widget depends on Google's own script and cookies.
